To God Be The Glory!
Saturday was a day that I won’t soon forget. I had the privilege to be part of a baptism that saw more than 170 people take the plunge into the warm Miami waters in obedience to the command of Christ. It was 170 stories of God’s grace. 170 stories of God moving on people’s behalf, showing His love and mercy! I have been the pastor of Calvary Chapel Kendall since we started it 10 years ago, and this is something that I will never grow tired of. It is an absolute privilege that humbles me every time. A special blessing this time around was being able to baptize my brother and his wife and his little girl. I definitely wasn’t expecting it. So cool! It was also a bittersweet occasion because it was the last time Pastor Pat was going to be with us before he leaves to Canada. In light of that, he was my baptizing partner, and I had such a blast serving alongside him. I am looking forward to see how God is going to use him and Janet and their wonderful family to change Toronto and beyond… Pat leaves on Tuesday with the U-Haul. Please keep them in your prayers!
Don’t forget to pray for all of those that took the plunge into water baptism. Pray that Christ would dwell in their hearts through faith; that they may be rooted and grounded in love as Ephesians 3:17 tells us.
Please stay tuned for the upcoming highlight video in 2 weeks.
